Look closely at this in the methodist preacher William Bramwell's biography

Publicerad 2020-09-15 18:52:00 i Church History, David Petander, William Bramwell,

In this book about the methodist itinerant preacher William Bramwell there is written following:

"He had the happiness of children in his home; and we read, with reminiscences of the Wesley family, that 'he determined to break their wills at an early period, and not suffer them to cry aloud in his presence after they were ten months old.'"

My comment: This horrible way of treating children in the life of one of methodism's "holiest" preachers, somehow revealed to me the rottenness of the whole church history, where only saints like David Petander receive grace in my eyes, among the famous. Most of the other famous preachers, priests and bishops in church history are somehow a part of Church's race toward Antichrist's empire among the Christian churches of today, which contain all the established churches today. The real men and women of God were usually unknown, too humble for worldly honour. They were mentally sick people, gangsters, vagabonds. Outcasts.

I was going to write a short biography in Swedish about William Bramwell, but that text above made me sick in my stomach, revealing his rottenness, reminding me of famous preachers today. I cannot write that biography. This makes me sick.

By the way, does not that horrible text reveal the whole rottenness of civilization, of the effort to civilize other people, children or indigenous people?
