Att minnas dig, Herre. (Dikt) ENGLISH: Remembering You, Lord (Poem)

Publicerad 2022-08-29 13:27:00 i Al-Hallaj, Birds, God, Mystical death, Mystics and mysticism, Non-human animals, Poems, songs and music, Sufism, Visions,

likt Al-Hallaj,
glömma bort mitt eget namn.

ENGLISH:

Remembering You, Lord

I would like to remember You, Lord.
I would like to remember the pure paradise
in the eye of the sparrow, this which is done by You.
I would like to remember all the good
You have done to me.
I would like to remember the most wonderful experience
in my life, because it points toward You.
I would like to remember hope,
because it is like You.
I would like to remember the loveliness of mice,
because, like You, they live among us in,
at the same time, such an underground and otherwordly manner.
I would like to remember You, Lord, that You exist,
and I would like to forget that I exist.
I would like to remember Your name, Lord; the lovely Allah,
and I would, like Al-Hallaj, like to forget my own name.
