Ludvig Almgrens podcast om sufimystic Ivan Agueli

Publicerad 2020-02-05 18:07:00 i Ivan Aguéli, Mystics and mysticism,

A year ago, poet and philosopher Ludvig Almgren did a short radio program (podcast) about the Sufi mystic Ivan Aguéli . Hear this . It is an extremely good introduction to this one of Sweden's most internationally known artists of all time. As many of you may know, I am cautiously Muslim, and Ivan Agueli has of course been an important role model for my special kind of Sufi Islam. I belong to the same movement as Agueli, traditionalism , and was initiated into it by Mohamed Omar (now Eddie Råbock) and a Sufi mystic (janitor in a Suficenter) in the small village of Orgiva in the Spanish countryside 2011. Oddly enough, Agueli also lived in Spain for a long time, and was a "militant" animal rights activist and anarchist just like me.

Agueli belonged to the Shadiliyya , a Sufi Muslim monk order, I unofficially belong to the Naqshbandi,  a monk order too, in the Sunni tradition. My mosque, the mosque at Medborgarplatsen (Björn's garden) in Stockholm, is Sunni, and I often pray there early in the morning. My spiritual twin Marcus Mahdi in Stockholm is also Naqshbandi-initiated. Without knowing that I was that too. Typical.

But what about the order I started myself? " The Order of the Holy Nature "? Of course it belongs to Islam and Naqshbandi somehow, but is pretty ecumenical and interreligious, as the traditionalists always are. How many initiates this order will be revealed on the doomsday.

(excuse for some english interruptions, I have problem with my computer, it automatically translates into english)
