Global warming has hitherto been exponential, just like energy decline will be exponential in the future. These two things will reinforce each other to create the collapse of civilization.

 

Google "global warming is exponential" or "climate change is exponential". I find almost nothing on these search words. Only this article. There it says: "Climate change is also exponential. We are only feeling the effect of the emissions from the 90s." This article only touches the issue slightly, so does a few other articles. I don't find anything more than this. The same is true about Swedish internet stuff. 

 

Isn't that strange? 

 

Isn't this truth, that global warming is exponential, one of the biggest and most important and serious truths about the issue? 

 

But I find so little about it that I have trouble believing it's true. But I cannot deny my observations when I look at the graphs below. I cannot deny the following graph from this blogpost by Sam Carana on the blog Arctic News on April 16, 2022:

 

 

 

 

 

If you don't believe Sam Carana (maybe he is a fanatical doomsday prophet to you), check out the following graph, from this article (2016), with official data from the World Meteorological Organization, for confirmation:

 

 

 

This graph says the exact same thing. 

 

Look at Sam Caranas graph, and see if you can find the points where the graph bends into a new, steeper phase. I find such points in 1920 and in 1970, with 50 years in between. Because there have been 50 years in between, before, it would be reasonable to think that the next phase shift to a steeper phase, is around the corner. From 1970 to 2020 it is 50 years. This period has been linear. The next phase might begin when we have our first Blue Ocean Event, combined with the firing of "the methane clathrate gun". It may happen at some time this decade.
