Sam Carana about extinction for the human race 2020

Publicerad 2020-09-16 19:01:00 i 11.11.2020, Arctic ice melting, Climate Change, Collapse of civilization, Collapse preparation, Doomsday, Judgement Day, Malcolm Light, Methane emissions in the Arctic, Natalia Shakhova, Near-term human extinction, Sam Carana, The second coming (the return of Jesus),

17.12.2019 Sam Carana, the greatest climate scientist on earth, asked if the human race would go extinct during 2020, in this blogpost. A few months after, we had the covid-19-pandemic and then the runaway methane increase. Sam did not know about these two things when he asked this question.

After all that has happened to Arctic ice and to the forests of the world (think about the giant forest fires everywhere), I think it was not foolish of Sam Carana to ask that question. It may be the end for us this autumn, or at any time, in fact. The 50 gigaton burp of methane from the Arctic sea  "is possible at any moment, or in her (Natalia Shakhova's) words, “highly possible at any time.”"(quote from this article). This Shakhova said 2008 *. So now the possibility must be even bigger. Maybe now the 50 gigaton methane burp from the Arctic sea is "extremely possible at any time". I think Sam Carana thought about this when he wrote that article. Professor Guy McPherson has also touted this tiredlessly. I have heard it so many times, but I cannot take it in, so big it is.

So what does this mean to us? For the methane scientist and climate scientist Malcolm Light, such a burp would rise the global mean temperature with 10 degrees celsius, which would mean the end of the human race. This is how serious the Arctic methane question is.

This means that the Second Coming, the return of Jesus, can happen at any time. Oh, may we live with great urgency in this time, full of the holy spirit and fire!!!!!

* This article puts it out: "Or as she put it in a 2008 abstract, “[W]e consider release of up to 50 Gt of predicted amount of hydrate storage as highly possible for abrupt release at any time,”" It must be remembered that Shakhova is one of the foremost field researchers in the Arctic methane issue.
