Prophetic visions in near-death experiences. Especially Howard Storm's visions.

Prophetic visions in near-death experiences are rare, but when they happen, they usually follow a similar pattern: predicting natural disasters and cataclysms followed by a new earth with a golden age, a form of "millennial kingdom" if you like (see also the excerpt below from David Sunfellow's book, the beginning of chapter 89). Professor of psychology Kenneth Ring (b. 1935) has researched this topic. Kevin Williams write the following about him and his research:

"NDE researcher Dr. Kenneth Ring discovered how many near-death experiences he was studying foretell future Earth changes such as earthquakes, volcanoes, a pole shift, strange weather patterns, droughts, famines, tidal waves and a new social order followed by a golden age."

(From the arcticle "Edgar Cayce Prophecies: Past, Present and Future" by Kevin Williams, posted in September 24, 2019 on www.near-death.com)

You can also read Kenneth Ring's seminal work on the near-death experience "Heading Toward Omega: in search of the meaning of the near-death experience" from 1984, for more detailed information on his research on prophetic visions in near-death experiences. It is translated to Swedish and is on the bookshelves of the main municipal library in Stockholm (Stadsbiblioteket), you can find it here

Howard Storm's prophetic visions in his near-death experience 1985 are classic. He says that he received information that civilization will collapse before Jesus returns (see the article "Economic collapse of USA and the world predicted by Howard Storm in 1985", September 28, 2008), the electric grid will fail, only a remnant of humanity will survive the collapse, and he says that there will be almost no technology in the future. His prophecies seem to me as being the most realistic ones of all those I have read. There is much mumbo-jumbo in this area, as always when we research the Spirit World and visions.

Kevin Williams writes in the article "The Future and the Near-Death Experience", from 22 September 2019, the following in the seventh chapter of the article (read the whole chapter, it is fantastic):

"Prophecies from such sources as NDEs, the Bible, the Dead Sea ScrollsNostradamus, and psychic phenomena, all agree that a new era of peace on earth will come after the foreseen natural disasters purify the earth from the sins of modern civilization. The following information are some of the positive prophecies of the future that are foreseen to occur after the catastrophic prophecies take place.

The following prophecies of a future “Golden Age” were given to Howard Storm during his NDE:

  1. No nuclear holocaust will occur (but possibly 1 or 2 bombs go off).
  2. There will be almost no technology in the future.
  3. Children to be the most precious commodity in the world.
  4. Raising children is will be the highest priority.
  5. A euphoric future with no anxiety, no hatred, no competition, enormous trust and mutual respect.
  6. Love and prayer will become a stronger force on earth.
  7. People will garden more in the future with almost no effort.
  8. Gardens will grow by the power of prayer.
  9. Groups of people praying together will be able to control the climate.
  10. Animals will live in harmony with people.
  11. Wisdom will be more important than knowledge.
  12. All knowledge can be accessed through prayer.
  13. People will be able to communicate telepathically with everyone else in the world.
  14. There will be greater insight into life after death.
  15. It will be like the Garden of Eden.
  16. God will usher the paradise on earth within the next 200 years.
  17. For paradise to come, God will have to restrict some of humanity’s free will.
  18. This world will resemble some near-death descriptions of heaven.
  19. Travel will be instantaneous.
  20. The need for clothing and shelter will be eliminated."

I also recommend you to read this excerpt from David Sunfellow’s book, The Purpose of Life as Revealed by Near-Death Experiences from Around the World (2016/2019) (Sunfellow has studied NDE:s for more than 40 years):

Chapter 89
How To Still Storms & Walk On Water
By David Sunfellow

"While few in number, some near-death experiencers are shown apocalyptic visions of the future. Earthquakes and tsunamis rage across the Earth. Governments and civilizations collapse. Vast numbers of plants, animals, and people die.

Other near-death experiencers are shown that the worst is behind us. We are now on a path where everything is going to get better and better.

While the specifics and severity of end-of-the-world predictions differ in NDEs, there is one thing they all agree on: a new world is coming; heavenly states of consciousness will eventually manifest in this world.

What can we do to help?

The deepest, most profound near-death experiences tend to be lighthearted and full of hope. There is a playfulness and sense of humor to these NDEs. Instead of raining down fire and brimstone, these NDEs are full of laughter, merriment, and gentle admonitions to lighten up and not take life so seriously.

How can these NDEs be so cheerful when so many apocalyptic possibilities are knocking on our collective door?

One answer is that the higher realms know the world is a dream, no one is really hurt or lost, and everything is unfolding as it should.

Higher states of consciousness also know that everything works out in the end, one way or another.

In other words, the challenges we face in this world are similar to the challenges we face in dreams. After a dream has run its course, we wake up, unscathed. And so do all of our dreaming friends. Even nightmares that are hyper-real and super scary come and go.

Here’s the point: whether the world follows a rough path to higher states of consciousness, or a gentle one, we can help by staying connected to the parts of ourselves that know everything is OK.

Instead of getting caught up in the drama of life and injecting more fear, instability, and despair into the collective consciousness of the planet, we can train ourselves to stay calm and connected.

And one more thing.

It’s the deep places that produce miracles. And healings. And solutions to complicated and bewitching problems. So staying calm and collected is not simply a way to maintain inner peace, it’s also a way to find practical solutions to life’s many challenges.

So whatever is happening in your personal life, or in the world at large, I encourage you to go deeper and higher. Engage life, full on, but don’t take things too seriously. Be cheerful and light hearted. Joke and laugh. Be a force of nature that not only stops fear in its tracks, but turns the tide and lifts others to higher ground.

This book can help. When negative influences take you hostage and you feel yourself slipping into despair, reach for this little book. It will help you reconnect with the high, calm, healing places within."

Let me end with Angie Fenimore's revelation in her NDE, quoted by Craig Lundahl in the same paper above:

"To illustrate prophetic revelations, I will cite two cases. The first case
is that of the NDEr Angie Fenimore, who had a near-death experience
on January 8, 1991. She gave the following account:
I could feel the urgency in the spirits who were scurrying about to do
the work of God. I was then told that we are in the final moments
before the Savior will return to the earth.... I was not told when it
would happen, but I understood that the earth is being prepared for
the Second Coming of Christ. (Fenimore, 1995, pp. 145-146) *"
