Some videotips about primitive technology (stone age technology)

Publicerad 2022-10-14 18:04:07 i Collapse preparation, PREPPER/SURVIVALIST INFORMATION AND RESOURCE BOX, Primitive technology,

(translation to English of an old blogpost from 2018 on my former blog "För naturens skull")

I am a big fan of the primitive or stone age technology, and already have some experience with it, having built two small forest huts in the Nacka Reserve without using a hammer and a single nail. But this hut (see video showing how to build a simple hut) I think is much better than the ones I have built!

Here and here and here (three different versions of how to do this, to make it extra clear!) shows how to make a fire with sticks and tinder (highly flammable fuel mass).

Here is shown how to make fire with string drill and pump drill.

Here is an excellent idea for how to build a primitive fishing trap from natural materials.

Here it is shown how to make pots and a stove using natural materials.

If you want to see more videos in the "Primitive technology" series, they are collected here. All of them have in common that they only use stone age technology and stone age tools, you don't see anything that comes from civilization in these videos, which I liked. If you start from scratch, without any tools, without anything, you must manage and survive with what you find in nature.

With these skills, one has already come a long way to be able to cope in a coming world where there is a shortage of almost everything, "a world made by hand", as James Howard Kunstler's futurological novel is called.
